The blog starts out a little slow... you may have noticed. :)
Starting March 29 there will new entries most days and in the April 1 entry you will get a glimpse of what the journal becomes as Mom begins writing about more of what has happened during her day.

My sister and I found a few of Mom's journals after she passed away. I' ve always felt like they were something that would be fun to share. Now I've found a way to do that.
Posts to this blog will begin on March 20, the date of the first entry to Mom's 1961 journal. I was 6 when she made that entry and some of what she wrote about during the year brings back long-forgotten memories. Her first few entries were not daily, but through much of the year she wrote something each day.
I'm doing this for my siblings and others who loved Mom with the hope that reading her words from many years ago will bring a smile to their face... she would love that.
